These terms cover use of Parlix, online and offline translation, subscriptions, and product limitations.

Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using Parlix, you agree to these terms. You must also comply with applicable Apple App Store terms when using Parlix or making purchases. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use Parlix.

Using Parlix

You are responsible for how you use translations, speech playback, camera capture, voice input, downloaded models, and exported results. You must use Parlix only in ways that comply with applicable laws and do not infringe the rights of others.

Online translation and limits

Online translation is provided by Parlix. Online access may require app access checks, Pro checks, and monthly character limits. Limits, reset timing, eligible languages, availability, and pricing may change over time. We may reject, throttle, or suspend requests that exceed limits, fail verification, or appear abusive.

Offline model downloads

Parlix may let you download offline models for use inside the app. These model files are provided only for personal use with Parlix. You may not redistribute, resell, extract, or use them to build a competing service. Offline model availability, size, performance, and supported features may change with app updates.

AI output

Parlix uses automated translation and speech technology. Results can be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate for the context. Do not rely on Parlix alone for medical, legal, safety-critical, financial, immigration, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions.

Your content

You keep your rights to the text, speech, images, and other content you enter or capture. You give Parlix permission to process that content only as needed to provide the feature you requested, such as translating text online or offline, transcribing speech, playing audio, saving local history, or exporting a result.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Apple under Apple's rules. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them through Apple before the renewal date. Non-renewing purchases, if offered, do not automatically cancel an existing recurring subscription.

Feedback

If you send suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve Parlix without owing compensation or treating it as confidential.

Service availability

Online features, model downloads, and supported languages may be unavailable, delayed, changed, or discontinued. Offline features depend on your device, operating system, downloaded models, and local storage.

Pro access and feature changes

Paid access unlocks Pro features in Parlix. Pro features, limits, pricing, and availability may change as the app is updated, subject to applicable App Store rules.

Prohibited use

You may not misuse Parlix, interfere with the service, bypass quotas or access controls, scrape or automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected features, or use Parlix to create, translate, or distribute unlawful or harmful content.

No warranty

Parlix is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from translation errors, service interruptions, data loss, purchases handled by Apple, or reliance on AI output.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when Parlix changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms. For support or legal questions, contact support@parlix.io.
