Parlix 隱私資訊

Parlix supports offline translation on your device and optional online translation with Parlix. This policy explains what stays local, what is sent online, and what we store.

Offline translation and downloaded models

When you use Offline Mode, your text, voice input, camera captures, translation history, favorites, and settings stay on your device. Downloading an offline model does not send the content you translate to our servers.

Online translation

When you choose Online Mode, Parlix sends the text you ask to translate and the selected languages to Parlix servers so we can return the translation. We do not store translations on our servers, sell translation content, or use translation content for advertising.

Subscriptions and online limits

For online features and Pro access, Parlix may verify access and purchase status and keep monthly usage so limits work across your devices. This is used for access control, Pro verification, fraud prevention, and quota enforcement, not advertising or cross-app tracking.

Feedback and support

If you send feedback in the app, we store the message, category, source, app version, and basic device context such as platform, iOS version, device model, locale, and, when relevant, the translation route and language pair. Feedback is not stored with account or tracking identifiers. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include in the email.

Permissions and local data

Camera, microphone, speech, and photo permissions are used only for the feature you choose. Local history, downloaded models, and app settings can be managed from the app and may also be removed by deleting the app.

Online services

Parlix uses secure online services to run and protect online features. The Parlix iOS app does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

Service security

Parlix may process basic technical information needed to operate, debug, protect, and improve the service. We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

Online usage records are kept as needed to enforce limits, prevent abuse, and support purchases. Feedback is kept only as long as reasonably needed to review and respond to it. Local history and downloaded models stay on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. You can contact support@parlix.io for privacy or deletion requests.

Children

Parlix is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@parlix.io and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Parlix changes. The effective date on this page shows when the current version took effect.
